Marble stone – no inscription Possible headstone for Jacob Kemp, probable father of Theobault (“Dewalt”)  Kemp. Jacob’s name appears as the only Kemp on the list of individuals in  Maxatawny who paid quit-rents prior to 1734. He wrote his will on 22 March  1735 and it was proved on 11 June 1735 in Philadelphia. A record in  Ancestry.com summarizing this will lists the household members named in the  will as “Dewald” and “Anna.” Anna is almost certainly Jacob’s wife, who is  listed on the 1759 tax list for Maxatawny as “Widow Kemp.” She is likely to  have been buried alongside her husband.
S.Possibly Vorrest Vernon Steelman, b. 17 Jul 1913, who is recorded on  FindAGrave.com as buried in this graveyard. His death date and relationship to  the Kemps is unknown.
Dor KEProbable headstone for Dorothea Kemp, b. 16 Mar 1745, daughter of “Debald  Kempf” (Theobault Dewalt Kemp) and “Elisabeth Dreher” (Drescher), per her  christening record of 11 Apr 1745. In his will of 13 Jan 1762, Dewalt named  Dorothe his daughter and described her as unmarried.
